Guest Artist Info:
- Guest Artist position is CLOSED. Both positions for the Valentines Day batch has been filled.
- Apply between January 1st and January 25th to get a spot for the Valentines Day adopt drop!
- Please read the Artist TOS before applying! Please note that GA's cannot apply multiple months in a row to give others a chance to apply!
- GA's that apply in January will release their adopts on February 14th. Adopts are expected to be turned in/completed 3 days before the release date!
- The rewards you receive for boosting the discord server has increased slightly. Now one will also receive various currencies and user EXP alongside the usual Rare MYO they get per boost they do for the server.

There are 3 new Companion Species in the Cloakat species as of January 2025!Please welcome the Bramboa, Bristled Brewbax, and the Kitano to the forest!
Look familiar at all? You may have seen hints of these guys around in the last year! Well, they are ready for community members to create one of their very own!
For those of you who completed the December advent calendar, you had the ability to receive one of these 3 species at the last day of the advent calendar, we hope you enjoy your new gift for a new year!

The server hosts monthly raffles for different species in the Cloakat world, there are usually 1-4 raffled adopts a month. Feel free to join and lurk if you'd like a cool raffle friend, or to join the community and talk with others!
Event 1: Ball Drop Beginnings
Collect Celebratory Items from the daily and have the ability to turn these into boxes with exclusive boarders for a user to use!
Event 2: Celestial Dawn
Collect Celebratory Items from the daily and have the ability to turn these into boxes with exclusive collectible for a user to use!
These collectibles drop 1 item a month each, and offer many gifts when leveling their friendship. They also offer an exclusive gift once their friendship with the user is maxed out, as well.
Note: The plushie pets released during these events are also purchasable designs, read their description as an item to see how.

What do I get for completing these activities?
- Monthly prompt/festival prompt for art and writing gets a direct loot box from this month's event.
- Monthly prompt/festival prompt for art and writing gets an exclusive border based on the current event, month, or holiday.
- Art challenge and palette challenge gets x1 roll of each daily type from this month's event.
- All other "paper activities" gets x1 roll for border items from this month's event.
- Questions/quizzes gets x1 role for pet items from this month's event.

- The Bristled Brewbax are often found in small businesses high in the mountains of MT. Cypress. The cöde for this month's newsletter is snail! They generally live in burrows under the snow and hunt for local wildlife that are small, such as birds, rabbits, and other small prey.🔨 Site Tweaks: 🔨
- Daily forage has been reduced back to 3 daily turns. output of items you get in the loot pool has been increased, so you may have a bigger chance to drop 2-3 items at a time, now.
- These were implimented in November, but work better now, but all NPCs info can now be found on the Cloakat.com website rather than just the NPCs designate TH profile via this link here: https://www.cloakat.com/world/figures Please note that some information may still be missing, but we'll be sure to update it asap!
- The Cloakat of the Month reward now includes x1 of each of the two event loot tables for that month. Previously it just offered user EXP, ginkgo currency, and x2 shard currency bonus.
New Items:
- 5 new collectible pets for our monthly event. (Can be interacted with for a chance of drops)
- 5 new collectible user boarders for our monthly event. (User accessory to decorate ones profile)
- 10 new event items for our monthly event (to turn in with crafting whats listed above.)
- 52 new collectible plushies: 13 Bramboa, 13 Bristled Brewbax, and 26 Kitano basic colored plushies, tiedye, and natural versaions of these pets. The Kitano has twice as many due to them having 2 versions of themselves. (These can be bonded with to level up and gain items. you can also get an item from these plushies once a month as a gift!)
- Vial of Venom - Can be collected from multiple companions and monsters where applicable. Full use info TBA.
Item Adjustments/Edits:
- Moonbloom Flesh has been renamed Floral Flesh to sound more snappy and accomidate multiple creatures
New Recipes:
- 2 new box recipes for the 2 craftable event boxes we host monthly.
- More items have been added to the crafting activity so members can create more items and meals for selling purposes.
