Hollow Acolyte

A treelike creature baring fruits it mimics from other flora around it to attract prey. The fruit it bares can sometimes be foreign to the area or completely alien in nature as well. Often when these live in caves, they can start producing very odd fruit not native to the area. Some claim this fruit is either made up amalgamation of things it remembers, if not alien in nature. The fruit is generally very nutritious and sweeter than usual, accordingly. This creature is generally hostile if hungry, but tame if it has recently fed. It can seemingly only "see" from a break in its trunk at the perceived "front half" of the tree, so it can hypothetically be snuck up on if encountered from behind. It is highly reactive to touch, so if one is to touch any part of its body, it will instinctively grip or wrap what touches it.
