Gazing Gibbous

A plant creature that seems to be somewhat resemble a gibbous moon phase, and thus was named after this phase of the moon. Its seed pod seems to attract some specific species into consuming it as a way to help move its lifecycle along by tricking animals into eating it due to its sweet aroma. While it's usually distributed via the excrement of the animal that consumes it, on rare occasion, the seeds can take on a rather parasitic and grim approach, taking the creature over, instead of moving through the system as it's generally intended to. The Seed Pod also seems to almost resemble an eye and reacts to sounds around it, so others seem to believe this is how it perceived the world around it. It seems to be very perceptive to vibrations in the earth as well, so even if its seedpod is taken, it still seems to react to things so long as it causes some sort of vibration in the soil. The Gazing Gibbous also seems to be a carnivorous plant, and as such it will consume smaller animals, insects, etc if it can get its vines on it. It's harder for it to catch larger prey, however, and this pray, if larger, or equipped with something sharp, can often break out of its vines.
