Waxing Willow

A type of tree a bit uncommon around Moonset Island. These trees seem to give off an ominous vibe. While It seems to resemble a Weeping Willow, there are many things that seem to be foreign about it that doesn't line up with other willow types around the area. These Willows seem to have a more red-colored wood, and very dark leaves, arguably black, that droop nearly to the floor most of the time. These trees seem to sport some very odd berries that match the leaves color with a red flesh on the inside. These are called "Void Berries". When these void berries are plucked, the tree's branch where it was attached too seemingly "bleeds" as the sap that seems to leak from it is red, adding onto its ominous vibe. The berries seem to be edible, they are sweet but tart in flavor, similar to a cherry, however, Cloakat who eat these seem to sleep for long periods of time afterward, so pacing yourself when eating these are vital. Cloakat sometimes claim to have a sense of astral projection or lucid sleep whenever using these berries, so they are often monitored closely to make sure Cloakats aren't using them for negative purposes.
