Generally these are only harvested from ethical sources or from ferals of its kind that attack a Cloakat first. Sometimes this meat can be harvested from recently deceased of its kind. There is a fine line between feral and companions of its kind and Cloakats recognize this line as well. Some small farmers or hunters might raise these specifically for their meat and produce, however. Tempo Slug meat can also be tricky to harvest due to their stingers and toxins, so usually a lot of experience is needed before you attempt to harvest one correctly, as harvesting it incorrectly can result in slight discomfort when consuming, numbness of the tongue, or temporary paralysis. Very small animals that eat this can also sometimes be fatal due to the toxins being stronger to those who are smaller in size.

Moon Blooms are carnivorous plants and can taste slightly different due to whatever it consumes, largely dieting off of bugs. Hunters may harvest them when they are freshly bloomed for the "best results" in their floral flesh. The "heart" of the Moon Bloom yeilds the most nutricion and flavor. (Note: The "heart" refers to the heart of a lettuce, it is the "center" of the Moon Bloom)

Slime dropped from a Grottogulp. A very common substance considering how slimy these amphibians are in the first place. Grottogulp's will often just drip and ooze this ink, but on occasion, they will projectile spit this ink at predators and prey to get an upper hand by dulling their senses. This slime is very viscus, but can be watered down with correct methods to create a rather thick ink comparable to India ink. It is very commonly used in ink used around the island as well.

A tail dropped by a Xierub. It is partly common to find these in and around caves and grottos as they can get startled or skittish rather easily. Xierubs will sometimes lose their tails when in fights with others of their kinds or with Bramboas, Grottogulps, Moon Blooms or Picapteryx.

The gills of the Xierub, dropped through battle or intentional harvesting. These can double as wings and are commonly kept as a "good luck" charm by some, much like a lucky rabbit's foot. These are technically pretty common as Xierubs have 6 of them, but are found lying around less so. They generally have to be intentionally taken off of a Xierub, unlike their tails.
