Moonset Island is the home of the Cloakat species. Spanning many miles, it is an offset island from the Khaki Desert. Moonset Island has many ports that sailors go in and out of from their main destinations, while they do have foreign species visit them, the island is largely populated by the Cloakat species and their general wildlife. The island is practically not touched by the outside world outside their main ports for travelers, making some of the plants and species that inhabit it, quite exotic.

Moonset Island is most known for its uniquely moon-shaped landmass as well as the Island's ability to seemingly quickly form rather unique crystals of many different kinds. Some seem to hold mysterious powers, while others seem to just be smaller shards of powerless gems. While the Cloakats inhabiting the island downplay the price of their crystals to certain amounts of numerical worth per crystal color, they are quite popular with human/humanoid tourists to purchase them in mass quantities for jewelry-making purposes, keeping the Island rather wealthy and inhabitable for the Cloakat in exchange.

Cloakat's live a natural and healthy lifestyle, working minimally while keeping their island flourishing and healthy in the process. They rarely leave their island due to their comforting lifestyle as well as to the fact that they are well-equipped to stay on their island with no problem.
