Hellebore Hamlet

This location used to be vastly different 1–2 centuries back, however, something huge happened in Cloakat history a while back that started this unique foliage to pop up. The plants here almost seem alien in nature and a mystical haze seems to surround its lands. Cloakat tend to get lost here if they don't fly above the haze or stick to paths. Cloakat can sometimes feel weary when traversing the outskirts of the 2 main villages in this biome as it always seems like they are being watched. Some say that these lands are cursed due to their intriguing properties and almost parasitic growth. In recent ages, some sinkholes have been randomly happening around this area, indicating an unstable underlying problem with the caves below. Cloakat are generally too afraid to go into these holes and try their best to cover them up when possible. Some Cloakat have even moved out of the area in fear that the large mushroom-like trees their houses are on might fall into one of these sinkholes one day.
