Scoria's Crag

There is a stone-built village on the northwest side of the main volcano.
The Village built on the north side of Scoria's Crag is known for its unique stone houses that are seemingly heat-resistant. Many earth and fire element Cloakats love to live here as the temperatures rarely dip below 300°F/148°C, While being 800°F/426°C closer to halfway up the mountainside, and reaching about 1200°F/648°C closer to their peaks. Gemspires seem to grow out of the mountains here from time to time and will rarely explode into shards if they make contact with lava. Cloakat will often live here to collect ash, lava, gens, rocks, and other things to bring and sell to merchants in Ashfall, who them flip the price, while others live here to be Armorers. Noah lives here and tends to a huge fleet of armorers under him where they supply the weapons all throughout Moonset Island. These armorers are passionate and hard-working and tend to dedicate most of their days doing exactly this. The weapons usually go to the Vulcan Outpost where the guards here will then fly about and distribute these arms where needed. Sometimes they will also be sold to traveling merchants who pass through the area as well. Scoria's Crag also seems to have a vast underground network of mostly lava-filled caves. There is a huge recess under the volcano itself with a huge palace of sorts that generally the most hardy of Cloakat can seem to travel to. There is also a rumor of a huge lava-dwelling beast in their area that lived there long ago, however, most folks nowadays only speculate its appearance. Many will travel around the volcano's rims in hopes of seeing it one day.
