Traits
Bound (Rare)
Things like chains, shackles, and other binding things on the Cloakat. This also indicates that the Cloakat has committed some form of crime or was exiled from their main village location. This can be for more technically petty crimes like theft, battery, arson, etc on repeat offense and marks the Cloakat as generally dangerous. This trait does not contain or hold back the CLoakats powers by any means, it is a generally magically applied shackle of some sort to warn others of them as well a shame the offender. This is a lore-related trait. (The shackles MUST be visible, note Cloakat #009 for this)
Trailing Particles (Rare)
Particles that float around or off the Cloakat. Things like dust, particles, sparkles, and other things can shimmer off the Cloakat. Certain traits are needed for specific particles like elemental traits are needed for elemental powers, etc. Particles cannot be finite large objects, like the Levitating Objects trait, these generally spawn off and dissipate from the Cloakat.
Boba Parts (Rare)
Parts of the body are a glass-like container that can hold things like boba, liquid, liquid galaxy (requires animates skin), sparkles, etc. or be empty in appearance. This also includes Cloaks/Clothes that visually look boba-like or boba-filled. Note: Boba filling cannot be changed out to completely overhaul the appearance of a design. Teeth and Tongue cannot be boba. The body part can be filled OR empty if you'd like. Boba filling still abides by other traits like elements, food, and other trait-oriented textures of the species.
Inanimate Parts and Textures (Rare)
Parts that are inanimate objects or materials like being made of plastic, string, yarn, lego blocks, etc. This can be used to make toy cloakats or stuffed animal/plushie cloakats as well. You can change things to certain objects so long as it generally still has the "Cloakat Shape" of the part being edited.
Chitin Skin (Rare)
The skin is more like that of an insect's exoskeleton and is shiny. This can be either slightly hairy or sleek in texture. This is allowed to be segmented however you want within reason, so long as it still resembles an insect.
Uncanny Skin (Rare)
This trait is used for body-horror-style skin. You can use it to make the skin look like flesh/meat, gore, veins, Liminal horror, etc.
(traits related to eyes are needed to add eyes to this. This trait does not naturally support eyes but DOES support teeth, spikes, burs, veins, etc.)
Antlers (Rare)
The Cloakat has antlers much like a deer, moose, or another hooved beast. This can be a single antler or one set. Ask if you have an Idea for more than 1 set of antlers with a reference in hand!
Antlers cannot be made of wood without event trait: branch horns!
This trait cannot be stacked.
Shaped Ears (Rare)
The ears of the Cloakat are a slightly less traditionally bat shape, now taking on an appearance similar to a simple shape. Things like diamond, square, circle, heart, star, plus sign, arrows, or crescent shapes are all acceptable shapes so long as they aren't used to heavily mimic other animal ears. The ears still need the lines and tragus! Cannot be used to mimic other traits of higher rarity, namely rabbit ears among other things! Please note that the only shapes allowed for this trait are the ones either mentioned verbally or are in the example picture for the trait! Please ask about other shapes with a reference or doodle to see if the shape you have in mind is allowed!

Saber Teeth (Rare)
Teeth with 2 large canines resembling that of a sabertooth tigers or teeth like that of a Trolls Teeth or Elephants Tusks, which have 2 lower canines that protrude substantially from the lips. They can also resemble a Foo Dogs teeth. Generally can be used to have overly-long teeth in general.
Tusk Teeth (Rare)
A set of teeth that protrude drastically from the bottom jaw of the Cloakat. These tusks can be stylized to be like that of an ogre, elephant, mammoth, boar, or other tusked creatures within reason.
This is different from saber teeth and foo dog teeth.
Jagged-Jaw (Rare)
The cartoon appearance of the skin looking like teeth instead of having real teeth in the mouth.
You can have real teeth in the mouth as well as these types of teeth but the teeth have to match.
Needs to be paired with a teeth shape from this category.
Chime Mouth (Rare)
A mouth shape that represents that of a bell. This mouth has 2 "holes" or circles to the left and right of the mouths "seam line" that can stylistically stay black, or show the teeth of the Cloakat under its lips. The mouth can be forever grinning, or can close completely to show just the stylized bell mouth. Can be comparable to Pokémon: Chingling. Can be combined with "Devil's Mouth" to make a 4-way "bell" shape for the mouth. Chime mouth is not allowed to be positioned in a way to mimic eyes.
Zipper Mouth (Rare)
The mouth of the Cloakat resembles a zipper. You can style this any you please, so long as it looks like a zipper in some way.
(Inspired by the Pokemon, Banette)
Tongueless (Rare)
The Cloakat fully lacks a physical tongue and generally cannot talk. Generally, this is lore-related to lack a tongue.
Tongue Bauble (Rare)
The tip of the Cloakats tongue has a unique shape to it. This can be things like a star or heart shape, a loop-shaped hole tip, or otherwise odd shape. Offensive symbols will not be tolerated.
Blunted Claw Shape (Rare)
Generally, these claws are tube-shaped with a blunted tip. Can generally resemble a marshmallow in appearance. Refer to Cloakat NPC Cecelia
Razor Claw Shape (Rare)
The claws are very flat/thin, much like that of a razor, scissors or almost Knife-like flatness to them. Refer to NPC Muslin. (This trait is different from the "Thin Claw" trait. as they are much thinner in size and generally more metal or knife-like in appearance.)
Shaker Charm Claw Texture (Rare)
The Cloakat has hollow transparent plastic-like claws that can be filled with shaker charm charms. Additionally, these claws can be decorated with stickers if the artist so wishes. Please avoid using IP/copywritten characters in these!
