Traits
Bush Tail (Rare)
The Cloakat has an incredibly long tube/cylinder-like tail that’s tipped with a blunted tuft of hair. (A little like Pokémon nickit’s tail tip) Note: This is not the same as the Rapunzel tail trait. Rapunzel is a length-affecting trait while this one has a distinct visual shape and is naturally incredibly long.
Nub Tail (Rare)
A small tail with a general "water drop" shape to it. It's like the standard tail if it was smooshed against the Cloakat instead of being very long. This tail is not to be confused with a tiny bunny tail as it is still very fat/fluffy in size. Secondary image is Nub + Chilla's Tail.
Object Tail (Legendary)
The tail seems to fully represent a foreign object while generally sticking to a Cloakats tail shapes previously noted. (I.E saxophone, a stack of fries, a bale of hay, etc.) You can make items attached on the tail or items on/over/engulfing the tail (like a seashell!) OR you can replace the tail entirely with an object (within reason). The object in question has to be large and visible from most angles.
Note: Some items might need an overarching trait stacked with it to be acceptable (like elements or foods as a tail)
Kitsune-Tailed (Mythic)
The Cloakat sports generally up to 3 total tails extra/max. Ask if you have an idea for more than 3 tails as generally they won't exceed 3 total (exceptions can be made!)
This trait cannot be stacked.
Bud Tail (Event - Spring)
The tail is a blooming flower of your choice. This is generally very large in size and blooms during the day while closing to a bud during the night.
This trait also helps power up nature-based powers due to the photosynthesis it offers to the Cloakat.
Event traits are easily mimicked by combining regular traits, please refrain from doing this. We understand that it is easy to just do this, but event traits exist sheerly for fun purposes, like having unique traits pop up around certain holidays to have something cool to look forward to.
Seaweed Tail (Event - Summer)
The Cloakat sports seaweed in place of its tail. By default, it is the most commonly occurring wiggly-shaped flat green seaweed but there can be other seaweed types if wanted. It can be any canon seaweed color. The seaweed is restricted to the normal size of the species' tail, but the size can be shortened with the nub tail trait, or lengthened by rapunzel tail trait. It can also have up to 3 tails with the kitsune tail trait.

Hermit Crab (Event - Summer)
The Cloakat's tail is engulfed by a huge shell that it can retract into like a home/defense. It can be any shell you want and any color you please. When drawn, please make it clear that the tail is going into the shell. Technically speaking, the shell cannot be removed or changed, but if somehow taken off the Cloakat, the Cloakat has the default tail type.

Witches Brew (Event - Fall)
The tail of the Cloakat is replaced with a potion bottle. By default, this is a circular bottle. The bottle can have any stopper/cork in its top, or none at all. The bottle is usually filled with a liquid of sorts. This liquid type and color can be anything you want it to be. If elemental, it needs elemental traits. The bottle can also have other things in it like a shaker charm, so if you want to make it a konpeito , candy, cookie, or other kind of jar, be my guest and fill it with anything within reason. The jar's content CAN be changed but has to stay within the same theming as the masterlist images reference. (I.E: different candies, different cookies.) Liquids in the bottle need to stay consistent, however, and cannot be changed. You can put labels, tags, and other things on he jar if wanted.

Garland Tail (Event - Winter)
The Cloakat sports a big bushy tail that looks like a garland. It can be any color you please or even multicolored but must look shiny.
The actual tail underneath is as thin as garland rope, so basically you'll feel its tail spine under thin skin if touching the tail under the "fur".

Snowglobe (Event - Winter)
The Cloakat sports a tail that is a snowglobe. Anything can be inside so long as there is "snow" in the globe. The items in the snowglobe cannot change.

Poinsettia Tail (Event - Winter)
The Cloakat has a nub-type tail that represents a poinsettia flower. Can have a few leaves surrounding it if you wish.

Ribbon Tail (Event - Winter)
The Cloakat has a tail that represents a ribbon, bow, or star-shaped Christmas bow in shape. This can be a long single ribbon, a tied bow-like ribbon tail (technically a double tail with the tapers), or a star-bow-shaped nub-type tail in shape. Can be matte, felt, metallic, or shiny if wanted.

Griffin Tail (Uncommon)
A Tail that's naturally fluffy at its base and underside with a decorated end, much like a griffin's would be. Must be fat in appearance unless coupled with the "skinny tail" trait! This Tail is naturally made of feathers unless specified otherwise.
Chilla's Tail (Common)
A Fluffy tail resembling that of a Chinchilla. The tail is usually tufted and very "sweepy" at its bottom half. Must be fat in appearance unless coupled with the "skinny tail" trait!
Snatching Tail (Epic)
A tail of generally any combinable tail type that has a hand at its tip. The hand will generally match the Cloakat's main hands. By default, the tail looks more tube-like rather than the standard "fat tailed" trait, as it more so looks like one more arm sprouting from the Cloakat's hind. Not compatible with Kitsune Tail.
Jagged Tail (Rare)
A tail that looks jagged or kinked-up in appearance, as if the Cloakat's tail had grown wrong or suffered an injury. Some Cloakat may also have this tail if they are highly interested in Distortion Cats. (Another species in the Cloakat universe)
Cinnabun Tail (Uncommon)
A large cinnamon bun or snail-like tail on a Cloakat. This tail is VERY big by default, but can be combined with cropped to make a smaller cinnabun tail. This is not a snail's shell nor a cinnamon bun tail, itself, its just a huge curled tail. This tail does not naturally or easily uncurl on its own.
