Seers Gaze

Seers Gaze (Mythic)

Species: Cloakat

Seers Gaze allows the illusion of floating eyes to appear around the Cloakat like floating artifacts with this trait. The Cloakat has Floating eyes around its body. Where these eyes float and what they look like is up to you. Please do not be excessive with the eyes (Like, maybe limit it to about 10 eyes if possible) Avoid using this to make the face look like it has eyes! If you can tell the eyes arent attached to the body, anywhere is fine.

Dominic's Binding

Dominic's Binding (Mythic)

Species: Cloakat

A set of demonic halos that act as binding shackles on the arms and neck of the Cloakat. These bindings are put on Cloakats deemed "too powerful" and can be considered an immediate threat to their world in the most evil way. If you ask for this trait or use it on a Cloakat, know it has story elements to it that you need to respect, ask for details from the CS owner before requesting this trait if needed. The visuals of this trait are not flexible outside being tones of black, grey, or white with black to red glowing pins only, as its visuals have a finite purpose. The pins on these shackles generally stay retracted, but can pierce the skin of the wearer if they start to exert too much power, this way, the shackles start giving the wearer a penalty for using too much power, as the pins dig into the wearer, it saps their powers more progressively proportional to the power exerted. Too much force used Can and Will kill the wearer. These shackles always seem to sort of float around the wearer and never make definite contact unless the wearer is being pierced. Dominic's Bindings are applied by an otherworldly force that monitors their worlds and is not applied societally by their species. Once applied to a Cloakat, they cannot be removed by any creature other than the applier or someone granted permission to manipulate the shackles.

This trait when being used on a design cannot visually transfer to another AU/CS as this is story specific and the creator's own invention, please respect that it is a personal story item in this sense.

Cavemind

Cavemind (Mythic)

Category: Body
Species: Cloakat

As a general concept, "Hivemind" generally means more than one character who acts or looks completely or nearly identical. So, let's say 2 characters may be twins and talk in sync, act in sync, or finish each other's sentences. Cavemind means you can have up to 3 total Cloakat who are "hivemind" in quality, however, this trait costs extra if a custom/MYO slot is purchased. The designs have to be identical/similar, however, you're welcome to change the palettes, hairstyle, and accessories of each Cloakat so long as you can tell they're practically the same character or that they're twins/triplets. 

This trait cannot be stacked.


Cavemind costs extra when requesting a custom.
Cavemind needs 1 potion per extra character, so you would need 2 for 2 total extra characters when purchasing from the shop.

Alt Palette

Alt Palette (Mythic)

Category: Skin/Fur
Species: Cloakat

The Cloakat has 2 total palettes for its design, including all accessories and clothes (All traits stay the same but change to 1 total alt palette)
Can allow for both palettes to have 1-3 total different traits between them if wanted, similarly to the chimerism trait.
Not compatible with Animated Fur if patterns between palettes differ or change shape.. Not compatible with Blacktop. 

This trait cannot be stacked.

Skeletal Parts

Skeletal Parts (Mythic)

Category: Skin/Fur
Species: Cloakat

Unlike Ecto-Bone, The Bat is nothing but bones here. 
"Bone Ears" are required so it still identifies as a Cloakat.

You can also make only parts of the Cloakat skeletal if wanted, as making the WHOLE Cloakat a skeleton isn't technically required for this trait.
Please note that the arms do NOT have bones in them!

2 Headed

2 Headed (Mythic)

Category: Head
Species: Cloakat

The Cloakat possesses a second head.

- This head can have the same traits and personality as the "main" head or can have different traits and a separate personality as the "main" head.
- Traits must all maintain the highest rarity of this trait's current rarity.
- The head must be placed symmetrically with the first head.
- The neck cannot be oddly long.

Event traits are easily mimicked by combining regular traits, please refrain from doing this. We understand that it is easy to just do this, but event traits exist sheerly for fun purposes, like having unique traits pop up around certain holidays to have something cool to look forward to.

Extra Set

Extra Set (Mythic)

Category: Mouth
Species: Cloakat

The Cloakat can have an additional mouth. Locations it can be is on the head (not on ears), arms, hands (Not on claws), legs, torso/stomach, or tail. The mouth has to match the type of mouth it already has as a primary mouth including size, teeth, and tongue. This cannot be used on the tail to make the "tail maw" trait or be combined with the mouth maw trait. (in tails section) This CAN be combined with skin trait "Uncanny" to change the mouth type, length, teeth type, etc. The limit of mouths is four (4) extra mouths total!

The Devils Mouth

Species: Cloakat

The Cloakat has a single mouth that opens up in 4 directions total. This can also be used to make a Predator (movie) like mouth if wanted.
When closed, you can choose to have the "seamline" of the other non-normal parts of the mouth's opening seem like they are hard to notice unless the Cloakat opens their mouth. Or just use their mouth as if its normal unless wanted. (Sort of like a transformation mouth) Needs to be paired with a teeth type. Not compatible with extra set, lamprey, or mandibles.

Croaking Tongue

Croaking Tongue (Mythic)

Category: Tongue
Species: Cloakat

A tongue of any type that has the ability to extend to about 1-2x the Cloakats body length like a frog, but naturally retracts to a normal Cloakat tongue size at its resting length. Not compatible with double tongue or Long tongue.

Nightmare Claw Shape

Nightmare Claw Shape (Mythic)

Category: Claws
Species: Cloakat

A set of very long claws. You can also think of Sneasel, Sneasler, and Weavile when wanting to visualize these claws. These claws can also retract into the hands to appear to have a more standard Cloakat claw size much like Wolverines. You can also combine any shaped claws to this claw type and make any claw shape long and retractable to their normal size at will.

Diverse Digits

Species: Cloakat

A second or third set of arms. (Max is 3 total sets of arms)

Retractable Set

 This is meant to complement the "Diverse Digits" trait. The Cloakat that has more than 1 set of arms can pull out or retract their extra set of arms as they need them. (This Stitch from Lilo and Stitch)

Ziptrap

Ziptrap (Mythic)

Category: Arms
Species: Cloakat

The Cloakat has a pair of hands concealed by a zipper, the zipper can unzip all the way back to the "elbow" area of the Cloakat to reveal a large mouth-like split in the arms. The Cloakat still proportionally has 3 fingers and a thumb. The Cloakat, by default, will have the zipper slightly undone so that they can utilize their claws. The "teeth" of the sipper can be turned into actual teeth if wanted with the application of the "Uncanny" Trait as its combo.

The Cloakat sports generally up to 3 total tails extra/max. Ask if you have an idea for more than 3 tails as generally they won't exceed 3 total (exceptions can be made!)

Undefined Cloak

Species: Cloakat

The cloak of the Cloakat is hard to tell as a separate article of the body visibly. This can sometimes also be viewed as almost cloakless even though some form of cloak is still on the body. This can be common for Cloakat with food-like bodies. This trait is considered so when there is no difference between the bottom of their shirt-like cloak or where its traditionally shirt-like cloak starts and ends. (Hood still required)

Clothing or accessories are not allowed to be made to appear or look very sexual in nature or could be confused as a fetish. Please keep it PG.

Seraphim Wings

The Cloakat has 3-5 sets of wings total. Can be any wing previously mentioned, and can be mixed and matched if wanted.

Mythic Power Limit - Up to 5 Total Powers (Mythic)

Category: Power Limits
Species: Cloakat

General Power Info:
• Standard rarity Cloakats are limited to 1 power total. It is the flight Power by default. (Add this power in your submission form)
• Common rarity Cloakats are limited to 2 power total.
• Uncommon AND Rare rarity Cloakats are limited to 3 power total.
• Epic AND Legendary rarity Cloakats are limited to 5 power total.
• Mythic rarity Cloakats are limited to 5 power total.

Why are some rarities the same amount of powers?
• It's strictly just to show clarity on how many powers each rarity can have overall. While some rarities share the same amount of power limits, it's just clearer to state each rarity's limitations just in case.

How to 'use' Power Limits and selecting powers for your Cloakat:
• To obtain more than the amount of powers your Cloakat is limited to, you need two things: a rarity potion for the amount of power limitation you want it to be upped to, and a power food to give your bat the appropriate power(s) you're looking for. If you have already capped the max amount of powers you can use, you can replace the power by using a TRAIT EXTRACTION potion, as well as the power food for the new power you're wanting to acquire. (Or a rarity potion for the new power added, foods are just easier to acquire!)

Background Info on Powers and rules:
• Cloakats aren't REQUIRED to have a power of any sort, however, by default they always have the flight trait unless they have stunted arms or other "deformities" according to their normal traits.
• The Cloakats Powers HAVE to make sense according to the Cloakats design in some way. Please leave notes on explanation or if you have a certain power in mind.
• Cloakats live in a world built for battle, although they keep themselves generally away from this, they often have powers for battle or generally useful purposes in their community.
• If power is being chosen by a client for their Cloakat, It HAS to make some sort of sense in relation to the Bat. I.E: A Cloakat themed around the sea/ocean generally shouldn't have FIRE powers.
• Please only choose powers that make sense, you don't HAVE to choose as many powers as possible for your rarity of Cloakat's limit of powers. These are limits, not mandatory. Powers that don't make sense or without explanation might be rejected to prevent "god-modding".
• Rarity of Cloakat indicates the limited number of powers they can have at one given time. This limit is put in place to prevent potential "god-modding"
• Cloakats Cannot Transform,
• Cloakats Cannot Shapeshift,
• Cloakats Cannot Multiply or clone themselves, even if fake/mirages.
• Cloakats Cannot have powers that change their size.

Time Based Powers (Mythic)

Species: Cloakat

The Cloakat possesses time-altering powers. Generally, it can slow down or speed up time to benefit itself. (This does not include traveling to the past/future, this just allows the Cloakat to alter its perception of time to slow down or speed up events when needed)This power can do other things as well, be creative with your thoughts, but don't "god mod" the powers, please!

Spatial Powers (Mythic)

Category: Powers
Species: Cloakat

The Cloakat can bend space. This usually mostly means teleportation to anywhere but can be limited depending on the energy and geographical knowledge of the Cloakat. Basically, the more the Cloakat studies its world and surroundings and increases its energy levels, the better its power is. This can also include a more high-powered Space wielder having the ability to summon stars or black holes. (This power can do other things as well, be creative with your thoughts, but don't "god mod" the powers, please!)
